Directions from the DC Beltway
To the Rod 'N' Reel Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach: Take Route 4 east beyond Wayson's Corner until you reach Route 260 where you take a new right exit towards Chesapeake Beach. Follow Route 260 to the traffic light in Chesapeake Beach and then turn right on Route 261 for about 1/2 mile. Turn left at the next traffic light (Mears Ave.) and proceed into the parking lot.

This year, residents attending the 29th Annual Celebration of Life Gala on Thursday, August 5th, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the Rod ‘N’ Reel Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach can take advantage of complimentary local trans- portation to and from the Gala.
Below is the schedule for the Complimentary Bus Service offered by Reid’s Bus Service for Thursday, August 5, 2010.
5:30 pm Solomon's OUR LADY STAR OF THE SEA 5:50 pm Broomes Island CHRIST CHURCH 6:15 pm Prince Frederick COURTHOUSE 6:30 pm Huntingtown PARK & RIDE (by Baptist Church) 6:45 pm Sunderland PARK & RIDE The Gala is the largest cancer fundraiser per capita in Maryland. In 1982, the first event raised $5,300. Since then, combined earnings have reached nearly $4 million and continue to grow. Residents, businesses and politicians are working together to sell tickets and solicit corporate and private donations to make this year’s Gala even more successful.
The bus service is made available to the public by the generosity of Mr. Reid of Reid’s Bus Service.
Shuttle service will also be available from parking areas within Chesapeake Beach.
